A custom home, not a catalogue
Most project builders offer a set range of designs with a long list of upgrades. We work the other way around. Every FEZ home starts with your block, your brief and your budget, and is designed and built to suit all three.
Because we are a boutique builder, we take on a limited number of homes at a time. That means Brendan and a dedicated project manager are across your build every week, and you always have a direct line to the people actually building your home.
We build our own homes too, so we know a good home has to do more than photograph well. It has to work for the way you live: where the morning sun falls, how the kids move through the house, where the bins go, how the breeze comes through in February. That is the detail we sweat.
Our work has been recognised at the 2024 HIA Sunshine Coast & Wide Bay Housing Awards, and we are fully licensed with the QBCC (licence 15037339).

Consultation and site visit
We meet you on the block, walk the site and talk through your brief, budget and timeframe. It is free and there is no obligation.

Design
We work with you, or with your architect or designer, to develop plans that suit the site, the budget and the way you live.

Fixed-price contract
Once the design is settled you receive a detailed, fixed-price building contract with clear inclusions, so there are no surprises later.

Selections
Choose finishes and fittings in stages through the build, with guidance from our team, rather than making every decision on day one.

Construction
Your dedicated project manager runs the site and our in-house trades, with regular updates and site meetings so you always know where things stand.

Handover
A thorough final inspection and walkthrough before you get the keys, with QBCC Home Warranty cover and ongoing support after you move in.

How much does it cost to build a custom home on the Sunshine Coast?
It depends on the size of the home, the site (slope, soil, access, wind and bushfire ratings), the design and your level of finish. We give you an honest budget conversation at the first meeting and a fixed-price contract once the design is settled, so you know exactly what you are paying before work starts.
We have a block of land. Can you take it from there?
Yes. We can manage the whole process from site assessment and design through to approvals, construction and handover. If you already have an architect or designer, we will work with them and their plans.
How long does a custom home take to build?
Construction time depends on size and complexity, with design and approvals adding time before we start on site. We give you a realistic program at contract stage and keep you updated every week once we are building.
Do you only build designer or luxury homes?
No. We build custom homes to suit a wide range of budgets. Every home gets the same attention to detail and quality of finish, whatever the size.
Is my home covered by QBCC Home Warranty Insurance?
Yes. All residential work over the QBCC threshold is covered by the QBCC Home Warranty Scheme, which protects you for non-completion and for defects after handover. We arrange it as part of your contract.
