Knockdown rebuild, Sunshine Coast
If your current house is tired, poorly laid out or simply too small, a knockdown rebuild lets you stay in the street you love and start again with a home designed for your block and your family.
Start fresh, stay put
On older Sunshine Coast homes, a major renovation can end up costing close to a new build, while leaving you with old wiring, plumbing and a layout you are still working around. A knockdown rebuild clears the slate.
We manage the whole process: feasibility, design, demolition, asbestos removal where needed, service disconnections, approvals and the new build. You get one contract and one team, and we will give you an honest view on whether a rebuild or a renovation makes more sense for your property.
Many of the best-located blocks on the coast are home to fibro and brick houses from the 1960s to 1980s. With a rebuild, you keep the beach, the schools and the neighbours, and gain a home built to current standards for energy efficiency, wind rating and liveability.

The process
Site constraints, planning overlays, demolition and service costs reviewed before you commit.
A new home designed around orientation, views and the way your family lives.
Homes built before 1990 often contain asbestos. Licensed removal and demolition are managed for you.
Disconnections, reconnections, demolition and building approvals coordinated by us.
Demolition and the new build priced together, so the full cost is clear upfront.
A realistic program so you can plan rental accommodation with confidence.
How it works
One team, one point of contact and a clear process. You deal with the builder the whole way through.
We meet you on the block, walk the site and talk through your brief, budget and timeframe. It is free and there is no obligation.
We work with you, or with your architect or designer, to develop plans that suit the site, the budget and the way you live.
Once the design is settled you receive a detailed, fixed-price building contract with clear inclusions, so there are no surprises later.
Choose finishes and fittings in stages through the build, with guidance from our team, rather than making every decision on day one.
Your dedicated project manager runs the site and our in-house trades, with regular updates and site meetings so you always know where things stand.
A thorough final inspection and walkthrough before you get the keys, with QBCC Home Warranty cover and ongoing support after you move in.
What clients say
No problem was too big or too small and we never felt like our questions were a disruption.
Yes. We manage the full process from feasibility and design through demolition, approvals and the new build, all under one contract.
It depends on the condition of the existing home and how much you want to change. For major changes to an older home, a rebuild is often similar in cost and gives you a far better result. We will give you an honest comparison.
Asbestos is common in homes built before 1990. It must be removed by a licensed asbestos removalist before demolition. We arrange the inspection, safe removal and clearance as part of the project.
You will need alternative accommodation from demolition until handover. We give you a realistic program at contract stage so you can plan ahead.
