Renovation builder, Sunshine Coast

Renovations and extensions, done properly

From a Marcoola beach house transformed top to bottom to extensions, second storey additions and new living wings, we renovate Sunshine Coast homes with the same care and finish we bring to our new builds.

Alterations and additions

Renovating is harder than building new. We are good at both.

A renovation means working with what is already there: old framing, hidden plumbing, uneven floors and, often, a family still living in the house. It takes a builder who plans carefully, communicates constantly and solves problems on the spot.

We handle everything from internal alterations and open-plan conversions to ground floor extensions, raise-and-build-under renovations, second storey additions and full beach house makeovers. Our in-house team manages the trades, the approvals and the sequencing so the work runs smoothly.

If you are not sure whether to renovate or rebuild, ask us. We will give you an honest view of the costs and the outcome of both, based on the condition of your home and what you want to achieve.

How it works

From first meeting to handover

One team, one point of contact and a clear process. You deal with the builder the whole way through.

01

Consultation and site visit

We meet you on the block, walk the site and talk through your brief, budget and timeframe. It is free and there is no obligation.

02

Design

We work with you, or with your architect or designer, to develop plans that suit the site, the budget and the way you live.

03

Fixed-price contract

Once the design is settled you receive a detailed, fixed-price building contract with clear inclusions, so there are no surprises later.

04

Selections

Choose finishes and fittings in stages through the build, with guidance from our team, rather than making every decision on day one.

05

Construction

Your dedicated project manager runs the site and our in-house trades, with regular updates and site meetings so you always know where things stand.

06

Handover

A thorough final inspection and walkthrough before you get the keys, with QBCC Home Warranty cover and ongoing support after you move in.

FAQs

Renovation FAQs

Still have a question? Call Brendan on 0448 815 649.

Do you do smaller renovations and extensions?

Yes. As well as full renovations and additions, we take on kitchens, bathrooms, decks and smaller alterations. Get in touch and we will tell you whether your project is a good fit.

Can we live in the house during the renovation?

Sometimes. It depends on the scope. For kitchen, bathroom or whole-home work it is usually easier and faster to move out for part of the job. We plan the stages with you so you know what to expect.

What other trades will I need to organise?

None. We manage all the trades, including plumbing, electrical, tiling, cabinetry, painting and landscaping, and coordinate the approvals and inspections.

Do I need approval for my renovation?

Structural work, extensions and additions generally need building approval, and some properties also need council approval, for example where a heritage or character overlay applies. We check and manage this for you.
